The University at Albany Graduate Student Organization (GSO) was voted into existence in the Spring of 1990 to address the needs of the University at Albany graduate students. In 2013, its name was changed to the University at Albany Graduate Student Association (GSA).

Audio cassette recordings of meetings,, meeting minutes, photographs and negatives, correspondence, grant proposals and grant evaluation forms, bylaws and constitutions, speech scripts, and award nominations. The collection also contains a large number of floppy disks.

Collection was maintained in the original order after it was transferred.

All items in this collection were transferred to the University Libraries, M.E. Grenander Department of Special Collections and Archives.
