The Department of Speech Pathology and Audiology offered undergraduate and graduate instruction in the diagnosis and treament of speech, hearing, and language disorders. The department also oversaw the University Speech Clinic. It was phased out in 1979.

This collection includes budget documents, equipment inventories, job placement materials, class schedules, correspondence, student teaching placement lists, and documentation of the phase-out process.

The collection is unprocessed and is likely disorganized. Individual items may be difficult to find.

All items in this collection were transferred to the University Libraries, M.E. Grenander Department of Special Collections and Archives.
