The Department of Comparative Literature, later called the Department of Comparative and World Literature, was established in 1960. It first offered an M.A. 1966 and a B.A. in 1969. The Department was dissolved in 1976.

This collection contains department meeting records, course schedules, course planning documentation, annual reports, and internal evaluation reports.

The collection is unprocessed and is likely disorganized. Individual items may be difficult to find.

All items in this collection were transferred to the University Libraries, M.E. Grenander Department of Special Collections and Archives.
